So what is this BBAC SA Data?
Those out there who are not balloonists may be wondering what this term SA Data refers to. A brief explanation is as follows.
The British Balloon and Airship Club (BBAC) is the national organisation representing British balloonists.
In order to help maintain good relations with the farmers and landowners on whose property balloonists may land, the BBAC maintains a database of areas to be avoided. These are termed Sensitive Areas and usually relate to things such as intensive livestock areas, etc.
This SA data is licensed from the BBAC by Aerostationery in order to be used on maps for BBAC members.
